Son Charged With Killing Mother In Windsor Locks

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Police have charged a 29-year-old man with murder in connection with the stabbing death of his mother inside their home early Monday afternoon.

Kevin Landry was held overnight in lieu of $1.5 million bond, and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Hartford Superior Court.

Around 1 p.m. Monday, police received a 911 call from a man, later identified as Landry, who said he had just killed his mother at 6 John Street. Police entered the home and found Barbara Landry, 60, unresponsive and suffering from multiple knife wounds. She was pronounced dead by EMS personnel, police said.

Police said the case was "an isolated domestic incident with no danger to the general public."
