Sunday's Main Event: Guided Tours of Memorial Hall in Windsor Locks

Spend a little time Sunday afternoon learning about one of the region's most historic buildings.

Want a tour of one of the most interesting and historic buildings in Windsor Locks? As luck would have it, guided tours are being offered of the Memorial Hall at the corner of Elm and South Main streets on Sunday afternoon.

"Dedicated in 1890, the building is a monument to those who went from Windsor Locks and lost their lives in the Civil War," according to the event listing promoting the tour on Windsor Locks-East Windsor Patch.

The building now stands as a monument for veterans from Windsor Locks and is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.

For more details about the tours, including times, please read the event listing posted by Jerry Dougherty.
