'Tour de East Windsor' Rolls Through Town on Sept. 28

The East Windsor Lions Club event will benefit the group's charity work for vision.

Grab your bike helmet and join in the fun of 'Tour de East Windsor,' scheduled to kick off on Sept. 28!

The East Windsor Lions Club event will benefit the group's vision-focused charities such as low vision centers and eyeglasses recycling programs, according to the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce website.

Participants can choose to bike the more grueling 17- and 30-mile routes, or opt for the family-friendly 6-mile course through East Windsor and Broad Brook.

United Bank, Geissler’s Supermarkets, Stanton Equipment and Family Dentistry are sponsoring the ride, the EWCC site said.

The event costs $25 per person through Sept. 27 and $30 on the day of the event.
