Truck And Chain Used To Tear Out Store Door In Windsor Locks: PD
Windsor Locks cops are investigating a violent break-in at a local gas station.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Thieves used a truck to break into a Windsor Locks convenience store early Friday morning, police said.
The break-in was reported at about 3 a.m. at the Valero gas station, 269 Main St., police said. That is the local address for state Route 159.
Police said they received multiple 911 calls from residents witnessing a red pickup truck smashing into the gas station's convenience store. The witnesses also reported seeing "multiple" suspects breaking into the store.

The burglars fled prior to police arriving, according to a report.
The front door was smashed in and the building itself also sustained damage, said.

According to a police report, surveillance video showed what appeared to be a chain attached to the truck dragging the door into the parking lot. The scene later Friday morning clearly showed the entire frame of the double-door entry missing.
Police said Friday morning they were still unsure about what was taken.
The case is still under investigation.
