Windsor Locks Public Schools Have Two-Hour Delayed Opening
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 a.m., and snow and sleet have made roads in town and throughout the area very slippery.
The superintendent's office has announced that all Windsor Locks Public Schools will open two hours late today, Tuesday, March 19.
There is also a parking ban in effect throughout the town.
The snow and sleet that fell Monday evening and overnight is to mix with rain and continue until approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday, with high temperatures around 36°F, according to the National Weather Service. The rain may mix with snow again after 4 p.m., but little or no additional accumulation is expected.
