Windsor Locks Spring Festival on Tap at Town Hall Saturday
Come celebrate the season - rain or shine

An uncertain forecast will not deter an afternoon of springtime fun at the Annual Windsor Locks Spring Festival Saturday, May 6. If the weather cooperates, the Town Hall parking lot at 50 Church Street will feature a roaming railroad ride, face painting, balloon sculpting, music, raffles for boy and girl bicycles, and an Animals for Rescue Booth. In the event of rain, the fun will move into the Town Hall Gym. Activities will take place from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m.
Admission to all events is free, including an opportunity for children to craft a special gift for Mother's Day. Refreshments will be sold with proceeds going to Boy Scout Troop 263, Alex's Lemonade Stand, the Alexis Ice Cream Truck, and the Youth Services Bureau. The festival is presented by the Windsor Locks Community Council in conjunction with the Youth Services Commission and the Parks and Recreation Department.
