$100,000 Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Middlebury

The winning ticket was purchased by a Naugatuck resident, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

MIDDLEBURY, CT —A Naugatuck resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased in Middlebury, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On May 6, Cheryl Brinckerhoff claimed a winning Cash5 ticket she purchased at Dez Mobil on Straits Turnpike.

The pari-mutuel game, which costs $1 per wager, has a top prize of $100,000. Players can add a "KICKER" option for an additional $.50 per wager, which increases the chances to win more often.
