WOODBURY, CT — The National Weather Service has continued the Blizzard Warning for Woodbury and Middlebury, and a Hazardous Weather Outlook remains in effect on Tuesday.
Here we can expect well over a foot of snow and sleet. Winds could gust to 40 mph at times. Temperatures will hold at about 30 degrees, but will feel colder due to the winds. And Metro-North is suspending service starting at noon on Tuesday.

Today: Snow before 3pm, then snow, possibly mixed with sleet. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow after 3pm. High near 30. Windy, with a northeast wind 23 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 16 to 22 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow likely, possibly mixed with sleet before midnight, then a slight chance of snow between midnight and 3am. Areas of blowing snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Blustery, with a northwest wind 14 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
Wednesday: A slight chance of snow between 7am and 9am, then a chance of snow showers after 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Wednesday Night: A chance of snow showers before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. West wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
