Here Are The 10 Most Dangerous Roads In Woodbury And Middlebury

WOODBURY/MIDDLEBURY, CT — Woodbury’s most dangerous roadway over the past four years is Route 6 with nearly 250 crashes. Middlebury’s most dangerous roadway over the past four years is I-84 with nearly 500 crashes.

The UConn Connecticut Crash Data Repository has crunched data from The Department of Public Safety and the state Department of Transportation.

These are Woodbury's most dangerous roads and routes from the past four years:

There were four fatal Woodbury crashes, six with suspected serious injuries and 75 with suspected minor injuries. Overall there were 597 crashes between 2015 and halfway through December 2018.

These are Middlebury's most dangerous roads and routes from the past four years:

3. Rt. 64 (216)

There were six fatal Middlebury crashes, 16 with suspected serious injuries and 131 with suspected minor injuries. Overall there were 1,202 crashes between 2015 and halfway through December 2018.

There were more than 431,000 crashes crashes on Connecticut roads and highways between 2015 and Dec. 17, 2018, according to the repository. Of that 1,074 involved fatal injuries.
