Hit-And-Run Driver Sought In Woodbury, Victim Hospitalized: PD
The victim, who is a Southbury woman, was hospitalized due to her injuries sustained in the evading accident.
WOODBURY, CT — The Woodbury Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the driver of a white or light colored pickup truck that was involved in a hit-and-run accident that resulted in significant property damage and injuries to the driver of the second vehicle.
At 8:54 p.m. Friday a white pickup truck crossed the double yellow line on Sycamore Avenue in the area of Bear Hill Road and struck a BMW, Southbury Police reported on Saturday afternoon.
The pickup truck could possibly be a 2005 to 2007 Chevrolet Silverado with some type of step rail, police said. The vehicle should have visible damage to the driver's side and possibly gray or black paint transfer, police said.

The female driver from Southbury sustained cuts to her face as well as an injured shoulder, Southbury Police said. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.
