Man Claims To Be Nonnewaug High Student, Gets Arrested: PD
Police told the Republican-American newspaper that the accused wanted to see if he could spend the day in school without anyone noticing.
WOODBURY, CT — Jeffrey Mark Normandin, 18, of Waterbury is accused of trying to pretend to be a Nonnewaug High School student and was arrested last week and charged with loitering in or about school, the Republican-American reports.
An SRO spotted Normandin and realized he wasn't a student, and he told the officer that he was a new student from Waterbury but he ended up trying to run from the SRO but was quickly caught, the Rep-Am reports. Police told the Rep-Am that the accused wanted to see if he could spend the day in school without anyone being the wiser.
