Pomperaug, Nonnewaug Maintain Top 10 Rankings in Girls Soccer Coaches Poll

The Panthers compiled a 13-2-1 regular season record, while the Chiefs are 13-0-1 thus far.

SOUTHBURY-WOODBURY, CT — Pomperaug and Nonnewaug high schools each remained in the top 10 in Classes LL-L in the latest weekly Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association poll.

The Panthers, ranked seventh, finished the regular season with a 13-2-1 record, outscoring their opponents by an incredible 57-14 margin.

With two regular season games remaining, the ninth-ranked Chiefs are currently 13-0-1, with a scoring margin of 61-9.
