Region 14 Schools Board Members Get Vaccine Early: Report

A teacher's union is accusing Region 14 Schools board of education members of receiving the coronavirus vaccine early.

WOODBURY, CT — A teacher's union is alleging that members of the Region 14 Schools board of education and their spouses were able to receive coronavirus vaccinations at a clinic designated for teachers and staff, according to The Hartford Courant.

The state is currently in phase 1B for vaccinations, meaning only those older than 75 are eligible for the vaccine. The clinic was already under fire for providing vaccinations to hundreds of teachers, who are not technically eligible to receive the vaccine.
