Teen Killed In Bethlehem ATV Crash

A 14-year-old Watertown boy was killed in a Wednesday accident.

BETHLEHEM, CT — A 14-year-old Watertown boy was killed in an ATV crash Wednesday afternoon, according to FOX 61. Police responded to a call at 4:40 p.m. from a man who said there was an unresponsive teen on his property involved in a wreck.

Tyler Palmer was still unresponsive when emergency personnel found him deep in the woods. He was taken to Waterbury Hospital where later died, according to FOX 61.

Police believe that Palmer attempted a jump over a ramp on the ATV, then ended up pinned underneath the vehicle.

EMS performed CPR on the teen, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, NBC Connecticut reports. Tyler's father was working on the course nearby at the time of the fatal accident, NBC CT reports.
