Unique CT Bakery Featured On Netflix's "Sugar Rush"

The owners of a bakery that specializes in unique offerings recently appeared on the TV baking competition.

WATERTOWN, CT — Hardcore Sweets, a unique Watertown bakery, was recently featured on Netflix's "Sugar Rush: Extra Sweet," when owners Jeremy and Nicole Braddock entered the competition, according to The Connecticut Post. The Braddocks vied for a $10,000 prize in the three-round competition.

One round included making junk food-inspired cupcakes and another involved a pinata cake, The Connecticut Post reported. Though the couple didn't win the competition, they have seen an increase in business since the episode became available on Netflix.

The Braddocks are experienced in appearing on TV baking shows, having done so every since 2013. They started with an appearance on "Cupcake Wars," when they won the Halloween episode of the Food Network show. In 2017, they appeared on the Cooking Channel's "Sugar Showdown," according to The Courant.
