Woodbury Considers Land Purchase
The town has been offered a piece of property for a second time.
WOODBURY, CT — The town is considering purchasing a piece of land owned by the Strong family, according to The Waterbury Republican-American. The 21-acre parcel on Middle Road Turnpike and White Deer Rocks Road was previously offered to the town for $550,000.
The new offer is for $449,000. The lot is zoned as open space but it's unclear how the town would pay for or use it.
