Woodbury --. Nine Woodbury firefighters and one from Roxbury completed a Venting, Entry, and Search (VES) training exercise Saturday June 19th, 2021, at headquarters on Quassuk Road with instructors from Flash Fire Industries, Monroe CT. The drill used a trailer fitted with a mock bedroom and filled with smoke to simulate the difficult conditions involved in life saving, firefighting efforts. Two of the pictured Woodbury firefighters, Mel Brenner and Helen Hickey, recently completed Fire One training and have joined the department. ###
