Woodbury First Selectman Shares Safety Concerns: Report

The topic was recently addressed at a Board of Selectmen meeting.

WOODBURY, CT — First Selectman Barbara K. Perkinson told members of the Board of Selectmen that she is worried about the increasing number of motorists who are illegally "passing on the right to turn at the intersection of Main Street and Route 317," the Republican-American reports.

White stripes on the road make it clear that the cars should not be driving on them, she said. Residents have brought the concerns to Perkinson but outside of raising awareness on the topic there doesn't seem to be a resolution in sight.
