Woodbury Heads to Polls for Fourth Referendum
Polls open at 6:00 a.m. at the Senior Community Center.

Woodbury voters are returning to the polls to approve or reject the 2013-14 town budget at the fourth referendum this year.
Polls open Thursday at 6 a.m. at the Senior Community Center on 265 S. Main Street and close at 8:00 p.m. Woodbury's Board of Finance proposed the new, reduced budget -- which raises the mill rate to 23.4 -- at an August 1 meeting. Selectmen sent a list of reductions to the board prior to the meeting, most of which were approved.
The new budget cuts $100,000 from the roads account, among other reductions, and adds $96,000 from surplus.
