Woodbury Residents Oppose Commercial Use In Residential Zone

WOODBURY, CT — The Zoning Commission is expected to vote later this month on Douglas and Tikva Rose's proposal to operating a small portion of their commercial welding and vehicle rust-proofing business, Rose Metalworks, LLC from their home located at 244 White Deer Rocks Road, according to the Republican-American.

Most of the work would be conducted elsewhere but local residents are vehemently opposed to the request arguing it's all wrong for a residential neighborhood. The local couple is seeking to do minor welding repair work in a garage at their home and even offer some metal art classes in a barn, the Rep-Am reports.
