Woodbury Zoning Commission Approves Controversial Project
A developer's controversial project recently received approval from the commission.
WOODBURY, CT — The Zoning Commission recently approved 12 new apartments for a lot at 219 N. Main St, according to The Waterbury Republican-American. The project has drawn strong opposition from residents and its approval marks the end of a lengthy process.
The commission approved the measure in a 4-1 vote, with Jack Well casting the lone dissenting vote. The project faced controversy as the developer sought to change the minimum lot size for apartment buildings from 10 acres to 3.
