Five Walk-Up Coronavirus Test Sites Available In Wilmington

Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki today urged City residents to be especially vigilant this holiday weekend by taking precautions to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus. The Mayor urged residents to avoid large crowds, wear a mask, and wash and sanitize their hands frequently.
The Mayor today also announced five FREE walk-up test sites that will be available in the coming days in Wilmington and thanked the New Castle County government and the Delaware Emergency Management Agency for arranging these events, which will use the saliva test technique. The sites are:

- Monday, July 6: Eastside Charter School, 3000 N. Claymont Street, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 8: Canby Park, Oak and S. Scott streets, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, July 9: Basketball Courts Under I-95, W. 3rd and N. Jackson streets, 12 p.m.to 3 p.m.
- Friday, July 10: Judy Johnson Park, W. 3rd and Rodney streets, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, July 18: Herman Holloway Park, E. 7th and N. Lombard streets, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
