Free Coronavirus Test Sites Available In Wilmington During Week Of August 31

Mayor says renewed public health concerns about the virus make it even more important to be tested, wear a mask, and avoid large crowds.

Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki again reminds City residents to continue to take precautions to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus. The Mayor asked residents to avoid large crowds, wear a mask, and wash and sanitize their hands frequently. FREE walk-up test sites are available this week in Wilmington. The Mayor today thanked the New Castle County government and the City and State Emergency Management offices for arranging these events, which will use the saliva test technique.

  • Tuesday, September 1: P.S. DuPont Middle School, 701 West 34th Street, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
  • Tuesday, September 1: Kingswood Community Center, 2300 Bowers Street, 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. Appointment recommended. Call 302-428-6586.
  • Wednesday, September 2: Kosciuszko Park, 601 South Franklin Street, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Walk-Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
  • Wednesday, September 2: Frawley Stadium (North Parking Lot), Frawley Road and Shipyard Drive, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Drive-Thru/Walk-Up) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
