Free Coronavirus Vaccines And Free Coronavirus Testing In Wilmington
Mayor Purzycki urges residents to beat coronavirus by getting vaccinated and tested, and not becoming complacent.

Mayor Mike Purzycki is urging City residents to continue to take steps to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Mayor said our adherence to science and common sense over these many long months is starting to produce a reward of a more normal schedule for personal and public gatherings. Mayor Purzycki said we’ll do even better as a City if we continue to get vaccinated and tested for the virus. He urged residents to follow CDC guidelines regarding mask wearing, social distancing, and other preventative measures until we can be sure that the virus threat is over.

City residents can be tested FREE for COVID-19 next week at test locations in and around Wilmington. For more information or to find the site nearest to you, visit either:

In addition, COVID-19 testing will be conducted by appointment only at the Henrietta Johnson Medical Center, 601 New Castle Avenue, on the following dates:
- Wednesday, June 9: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, June 10: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, June 11: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, June 12: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
