Noble's Pond Expands Welcome Center and Opens New Design Studio

Delaware's premier 55+ Active Adult Community has created the new spaces specifically to meet the needs of today's 55+ active adults.

Since its inception, Noble’s Pond has offered residents and visitors alike a warm welcome as they enter the 300-acre, resort-style 55+ active lifestyle community just outside Dover, Delaware. Now, with the opening of a new Welcome Center and Design Studio, under the direction of Rob Dudley and Katherine Houchins-Holsclaw, respectively, there is even more for prospective homeowners and established residents to enjoy and utilize.

The Welcome Center and Design Studio have been created specifically for today’s 55+ active adults, who are seeking the newest in-home technology and comfort, open floorplans, light-filled, spacious rooms, outdoor living features and onsite recreation and socializing options. The new center and studio are located in free-standing buildings, connected by a breezeway, where many of Noble’s Pond’s awards and accolades are on display. The Welcome Center provides an overview of the community, information on the nearby charming town of Dover, and pertinent facts about the state of Delaware, which offers some of the country’s most advantageous income tax rates for retirees. At the Welcome Center, prospective homeowners can review the many customizable floor plans available at Noble’s Pond and learn about all the community has to offer the active 55+ adult.

“Many people choose this area because of its tax advantages,” said Dudley. “But there is so much more to enjoy in our community. We offer a variety of beautiful new single family homes with customizable floor plans. The property includes 300 acres with a beautifully appointed clubhouse, a large outdoor pool, bocce courts, a putting green, tennis and pickle ball courts, a five-acre pond with a pier and observation deck, natural walking trails and a community garden. Our award-winning Lifestyle Director, Colleen Ostafy, plans parties, activities, shopping excursions, trips, fitness classes and much more to keep our residents as busy and engaged as they want to be.”

The Design Center was created to help prospective homeowners explore and select custom finishes and options to create the home of their dreams. Katherine Houschins-Holsclaw, who recently joined Noble’s Pond, can walk residents through choices including various home elevations, bonus room, fireplace, covered patio, bay window, four-season room, and much more. And because outdoor living is a hallmark of life at Noble’s Pond, Houchins-Holsclaw can offer ideas for outdoor living spaces that blend seamlessly with the indoors.

There are seven new exciting floor plans at Noble’s Pond. Three have been built as model homes onsite: the Bradford, the Camden and the Greenwold, while the other four are available for virtual tours at www.noblespondhomes.com. All have been designed with today’s active adult in mind and offer the latest in energy efficiency, as well as home automation from Intuity Home Intelligence to provide comfort, entertainment and security. Through a simple app and Google Home and Amazon’s echo technology, residents can control multi-room lighting and audio, window shades, door locks and temperature, while camera monitoring, alarm controls and Ring video door entry provide an additional level of security. Each home is WIFI ready, ensuring homeowners enjoy strong, reliable internet throughout their living spaces.
