The Wilmington Children’s Chorus is a multi-cultural children’s choir with deep roots in the Wilmington community. WCC was founded in 2002 as a project of Cityfest, Inc., a non-profit organization affiliated with the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Now an independent non-profit, the choir serves over 400 young people ages 8-18 annually.

WCC’s 2020-2021 season will be unlike any other. With a renewed focus on social justice, the choir will be filming and producing a documentary film featuring their choristers and community activists. The documentary will highlight young people’s voices and use music as a tool to heal and connect our community.

The Wilmington Children’s Chorus is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
