Brandywine Valley’s premiere restaurateurs invite guests for seventh annual Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week

The region’s best chefs and local owners are inviting diners to the Brandywine Valley’s top restaurants. The seventh annual Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week (BVRW) has been expanded by four days and will take place October 12-22. This year’s lineup has also been expanded, featuring 18 of the region’s premier restaurants.

The 2020 edition of BVRW enables guests to dine as they are most comfortable -- eat in, dine outside or take meals home -- and is an ideal opportunity to connect with friends and try new restaurants. BVRW will also showcase the diversity and depth of the quality of dining options in our region. This restaurant collaboration enables guests to sample the creative cuisine of these fine dining spots at special price points -- prix-fixe lunch for $15; prix-fixe dinner for $35.

“We are proud to partner with the area’s fine dining restaurants for Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week because we recognize restaurants are the cornerstone of our communities and we are proud to help showcase them,” said Tim Schuler, Director of Marketing for Standard Distributing.

Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week has been a high-profile event for fine dining in the Brandywine Valley for seven years.

“Our restaurants are doing a fantastic job,” said City of Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki. “They have been welcoming customers all summer and we are impressed by their resilience and commitment to their customers and the community.”

“Connecting with friends and family over a meal remains a top activity for visitors and residents alike,” added Sarah Willoughby, Executive Director of the Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We are thrilled to be able to continue promoting the fine dining scene in the Brandywine Valley.”

This year’s event has been made possible by the sponsorship and partnerships of the Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau, Delaware Tourism Office, the Mayor’s Office of the City of Wilmington and Missipilion River Brewing and Standard Distributing.

This year’s featured restaurants: Agave Mexican Cuisine, Bardea Food & Drink, BBC Tavern & Grill, Café Mezzanotte, Chelsea Tavern, Columbus Inn, Crow Bar, Cromwell’s American Tavern & Taqueria, Eclipse Bistro, Harry’s Savoy Grill, Hearth Kitchen, Krazy Kat’s, La Fia, Mikimotos, Piccolina Toscana, The Back Burner, Tonic Bar & Grille, and Walter’s Steakhouse.
