2 Indecent Exposure Incidents In Georgetown Area Investigated

D.C. police are looking for a man they say indecently exposed himself to victims in the Georgetown area Thursday morning.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Sexual Assault Unit are asking the public's help in identifying and locating a man in connection with two indecent exposure incidents that occurred Thursday morning in the Georgetown area, according to a police release.

In the first instance, the man exposed himself around 8:55 a.m., to victims in the 3600 block of R Street, Northwest. He then fled the scene.

A short time later, police say the same man committed a lewd act and exposed himself to victims in the 3000 block of Avon Lane, Northwest, before fleeing the scene.

Police described the suspect as a Black man, between 30-40, and standing 5-foot-10. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing a white shirt and black pants and driving a silver Honda Civic.

Anyone with information about the identity of this man or about these incidents is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. Anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of any person responsible for a crime in the District is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Solvers of Washington, D.C.
