GEORGETOWN, DC — It can be difficult to find a healthy and satisfying meal. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants in the D.C. metro area that offer delicious and nutritious meals, according to Eater.
The list, released on Tuesday, features a total of 11 dining destinations — some of them are in Georgetown. Check them out below:
Ching Ching Cha
If you want to eat healthy, and also get away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, check out Ching Ching Cha. This Chinese teahouse offers customers a tranquil space to enjoy traditional teas, such as green, white, black, and oolong. The dishes center around an original tea house cuisine, so expect traditional meals and small bites — like mustard miso salmon, mapo tofu, and curry chicken.

Its cafe fare includes cold-pressed juices, organic teas, signature bowls, and open-faced toasts.

Chaia Tacos
This eatery takes everything you know about traditional tacos and throws it out the window.
Chaia Tacos is a female-led business that partners with local farms to provide customers with seasonal, plant-based tacos. Items on the menu include: braised mushroom tacos with feta, roasted tomato habanero salsa, and cilantro; sautéed asparagus and spring garlic tacos with goat cheese, cherry pepper relish, and preserved lemon; and rainbow carrot and pea shoot tacos with lemon ricotta, salsa de tomatillo crudo, and mint. If you're not in the mood for tacos, the restaurant offers plenty of other options, including black beans, sweet potato soup, and green rice.
