Adorable Adoptable Pets Of The Week From Humane Rescue Alliance

These pets are searching for their forever homes. Will it be with you? They currently are at the Humane Rescue Alliance.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Franny has stolen the hearts of the shelter's staff and volunteers. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people or when in new situations, but once she’s had time to get to know you, she wants all the attention she can get. Franny does well around kids and is a very patient pup. At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy energy stage but would be a great daily walking companion. Franny is smart, food motivated and enjoys obedience training. The shelter would love to find this awesome dog a loving home where she can continue to work on her confidence and get the love and care she deserves.

Palooza is 11 months old and full of puppy energy. She adores attention and when you play with her, she is in the happiest of places. Not only will she love you, but she'll love every person she meets. Her tail wags all day long at people and their smiles. Her foster is looking forward to sending her to the best home of all time, and right now that is safely to a home without small children and other dogs, the shelter noted.

With her kittens weaned and preparing for adoption themselves, this affectionate mama named Clowie is looking for her own forever home. Clowie enjoys being held, especially if it means looking out a window. She'll even sleep curled up next to you in bed. She likes to investigate her surroundings but can be a bit timid. She'll find her favorite hiding spot when she's nervous, but she'll soon come out again, the shelter said. Clowie is described by the shelter as a happy cat looking for a happy place to call home. As an added bonus, if you're 50 or older, Clowie's adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer's Buddies program. Standard adoption procedures apply.

Four-month-old Cola is the purrfect blend of sweet, snuggly, playful and curious. Cola loves to follow her foster mom around the house, snuggle next to her while she's working, play in the cat tunnel, chase string around and explore with her sister, Pepsi. Cola is a perfect lady when it comes to the litter box and is all around a wonderful companion, the shelter noted.
