Adorable Adoptable Pets Of The Week From Humane Rescue Alliance

These pets are searching for their forever homes. Will it be with you? They currently are at the Humane Rescue Alliance.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Remy is a sweet, 10-year-old lovebug with an easy going personality. When she isn't napping she’s vying for neck scratches and pets, her favorite things. Remy is a loving companion, very polite and attentive on leash, and would love to supervise your every activity as your new best friend.

One-year-old Quinton considers it to be his duty to follow you and randomly plop on the ground asking to be petted. But even if you're staying cozy in one place, he will make sure to check in on you from time to time and will readily voice concerns over not being petted enoguh. Also, be prepared to drag out all of the cat toys because he does not discriminate and will play with every single one of them. Other toy-looking objects such as yarn and thread bobbins will also be considered and promptly taken away by Quinton to an undisclosed location and may surface later when they are being kicked around the house. He is a very sweet guy and will do well in a household where he can revel in all the petting he deserves and some log some solid playtime.

Magik is a sweet, shy girl. During the day, she likes to relax mostly on her own, but if you come over and ask if she wants some pets, she is more than happy to oblige. She's more active in the evening and will cuddle with her foster mom, demanding lots of pets and snuggles by rubbing up against her. She's extremely well behaved and is an ideal cat for someone looking for a companion who is very loving, but doesn't need attention all the time. Magik would do best in a home where she is the only pet and can find a quiet spot for the occasional alone time. She is a huge sweetheart with lots of affection. Check out her video here.

Harbor is 3.5 years old, 45 pounds and part spider monkey based on how she scales furniture and people. Some great facts about Harbor include that she's housebroken, crate-trained, friendly with other dogs and super athletic. She is very affectionate, following her humans around and trying to lay on top of them at every opportunity. The shelter staff also haven't heard her bark at all. She'd love to have someone continue working with her on learning new commands and loose leash walking. If you're looking for a quarantine buddy, this sweet girl is the one. She will be great at dog parks, on hikes and napping at your feet while you "work from home."
