WASHINGTON, D.C. — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Red may be approaching 9 years, but you'd never be able to tell by his goofy energy. Sweet and playful, this 70-pound pup loves a good run in the neighborhood, an exploratory hike in the park or playing tug of war and fetch. Red has no qualms about asking for belly rubs or cozying up to your leg, and loves being a faithful companion. He also enjoys relaxing inside and is a great cuddle buddy and friend when you need it. Overall he's just a gentle giant who is ready to find a loving home to give him the life he always deserved.
Meet Santo, a strong, sociable, and sweet 2-year-old. Did we say strong? Santo is 110 pounds and like many gentle giants, he is totally unaware of his superior strength. He is super eager to please, and would be a standout in training class. Teach this guy to do a few tricks and he'll be ready for the Prime Time.
Sweet little Cinnabon was not in the mall, she was hopping around outside of the building--in the parking lot no less -- when a kind passerby noticed her and brought her to HRA. Her shopping days are over and she's all set to be a homebound bunny. Cinnabon is on the small size for a domestic rabbit; more like a bonbite than a classic roll.

Mr. King is a stately 5-year-old boy who likes holding court from on top of the couch, chasing lasers and enjoying plenty of chin scratches. He has had no hesitation in meeting new people or investigating his foster apartment, even climbing on top of a running A/C unit to scope out the bird situation. He's a very polite cat, typically meowing once if he needs something and then sitting quietly by whatever he needs. While Mr. King has a very serious face, he melts into a cuddle puddle as soon as he receives any kind of attention. You have to work a bit to get the purr motor going, but he is a total love sponge and wants nothing more than to cozy up with his person.
