WASHINGTON, D.C. — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Kimberly is a sweet and dignified lady with a great disposition. She greets everyone with a meow. She is brave in the car and gets excited about exploring new spaces. Kimberly loves cuddles and will play with you if you ask and she responds in a patronizing "okay human but just for a little while" sort of way.

Nantucket is a gorgeous young calico kitty. She just finished raising four perfect kittens, and now she need her own forever home. Her foster parents say she’s the best, most patient cat mama they ever met. Nantucket kept her kittens healthy, clean and chubby when they were homeless and again in their foster home. Nantucket loves sitting in sunny windows and playing with catnip toys. She’s sweet and affectionate, and enjoys being petted and having her chin scratched. She even talks a little bit, a sort of a cute chirp, when she wants affection or attention.

Rebie is a sweet 6-year old girl that loves the DMV region and is curious to sniff all the areas it has to offer. Rebie has great energy and always seems to be happy when around her friends. She loves to cuddle in her dog bed and sit on her favorite rug. Rebie does very well with telling her foster parent when it is time to go potty and is working on listening to commands. Rebie is already obeys the sit command terrifically and can't wait to show you when she sits all pretty. As an added bonus, if you're 50 and older, Rebie's adoption fee is waived as part of the Boomer's Buddies program.

Calypso is a super dog who is eager to stick to her favorite person's side and be his or her shadow. She is a petite 38 pounds with honey-colored eyes and a sleek grey coat. She loves to play and go on short walks, but is not a fan of this heat, almost as much as she loves receiving head scratches and belly rubs. She also sleeps well in her crate. If you are looking for a friend for life, Calypso is your girl.
