Adorable Adoptable Pets Of The Week From Humane Rescue Alliance

These pets are searching for their forever homes. Will it be with you? They currently are at the Humane Rescue Alliance.

WASHINGTON, DC — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available through the Humane Rescue Alliance. Padme is a smart and playful little lady who loves to chase springs and toy mice around day and night. After tiring herself out from running after springs, Padme has a few favorite spots for napping - by the window and under the bed. While eager to play, Padme currently is not a fan of close encounters unless food or toy is involved. With some time and lots of patience, her new owner will quickly to gain her trust.

Kahuna is a well-mannered, gorgeous girl and also a giant lovebug who knows basic commands such as sit, stay and paw. She is crate trained but after just one night, her crate was left open and she was perfectly fine sleeping alone in the living room. She automatically sits to have her leash put on and rides great in the car. Kahuna is sweet, gentle and well trained; she just wants to love and cuddle. She takes treats very gently from the hand and has loved every person she has met.

At just 2 years old, Quinn is looking for a companion who will shower her with love, treats and patience. Quinn was found as a stray and was understandably stressed and unsure of new people and places. Now that she’s had time to decompress, her true personality is starting to shine through. This sweet pup loves to lean into you for pets and all the attention she can get. Even though she weighs 60 pounds, she may try to climb onto your lap if she's allowed. Quinn will settle into her new home at her own pace and will quickly become your best friend.

Tarot is a sweet, gentle and impossibly cute 1-year-old tabby. A total purr machine, this little sweetie pie just wants all the pets and head scratches she can get and is always finding a way to get her little face near her human's hand. She would make a great lap kitty to a special someone. When she's not looking for cuddles, she's either chasing ball toys or sleeping and snoring. Tarot went through lots of changes lately - she recently had kittens and just got spayed. She is still healing and will do well in a loving home where she can work on getting her cat mojo back.
