BARBARA BOLOGNA and LURDES BERGADA COLLECTIONS ARRIVING to DC

LiLi The First is proud and excited to welcome Italian based designer Barbara Bologna and Barcelona based designer Lurdes Bergada to the boutique.

“The boutique’s mission is to offer an original style alternative by curating collections made by independent designers who are only working with boutiques” said Ifat Pridan, owner of LiLi The First, “both Barbara and Lurdes are bringing a completely new look and vibe to the boutique, making them the perfect addition to our attempt to be versatile and avoid one specific mold for women”.

LiLi The First boutique located in Georgetown, celebrated its 6th year during the COVID19 shutdown. Carefully curated collections made by small, independent designers from around the world, each with a different personality, style and vision. The boutique is encouraging individuals to be open minded and care more about design, fabrics and process and less about recognizable labels.

Barbara Bologna, an Italian sculptress and performer of body art offers a collection of high quality fabrics and innovative visions. In a very extraordinary way she manages to marry commercial aspects of the pieces with the artistic and conceptual nature of each garment.

Lurdes Bergada, a self-taught, nonconformist and very creative spirit, started designing her own clothes. First Lurdes and years later, Syngman Cucala her son joined her. They are well known in Barcelona for the functionality, attitude, unique patterns and high quality clothes they design for women and men.
