Black Friday Adoption Special at the Washington Humane Society

If there was ever a purrr-fect time to bring home a furry friend, it’s during the holidays!

After enjoying Thanksgiving, stop over at the Washington Humane Society Centers and Foster Homes, 1201 New York Avenue NE and 7319 Georgia Avenue NW, to take advantage of the adoption discount deals.

From noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 28 and 29, all black animals, including those with black spots, stripes, or patches will be available for $10. The “Black Furdays” special includes half off the original prices of $170 for dogs, $85 for cats, and $10 to $45 on birds and other animals.

All animals will be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

There is a $15 DC dog license fee and the regular approval process will be in effect.
