Clyde's, Officina Offer Thanksgiving Dining Options To Go
The coronavirus pandemic has altered the way some Georgetown families are celebrating Thanksgiving, including prepared meals at home.
GEORGETOWN, D.C. — With the coronavirus pandemic reshaping how families celebrate Thanksgiving, Clyde's of Georgetown will be offering Thanksgiving classics like sausage-sage stuffing, glazed sweet potatoes and pie along with extras such as crab and artichoke dip, deviled eggs and jumbo shrimp to go. The Thanksgiving meal must be ordered by noon on Nov. 22 for picking up between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. The food will be served warmed and a la carte carryout also will be available that day. Clyde's is located at 3236 M Street Northwest.
Officina at 1525 Wisconsin Ave NW will serving turkey and prime rib to-go along with a la carte sides and desserts serving four to six diners. Sweet potato gnudi, foacaccia and black truffle stuffing, and coffee-soaked tiramisu add an Italian twist on the day's menu. Pre-order by 8 p.m. Nov. 19 and pick up between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 25 and Thanksgiving Day.
