
Around this time of year I cherish every snow flake, hoping it will last through Christmas.Â
This year isn't going to be the white Christmas our inner children always hope for, but today, for just a few moments, there might be a few snowflakes.Â

There may be a little snow in Georgetown today, but nothing that will amount to a White Christmas, the National Weather Service predicts.
There is a chance of scattered flurries after noon. But with a high temperature of 41 degrees, don't expect the snow to stick, the National Weather service prediction shows. Â
Skies will clear up some by nighttime and temperatures will drop below freezing with a low of 24 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts.Â
Christmas day will be all sunny with a high of 34 degrees.Â
