Friday Deadline Looms To Nominate Georgetown Employees For Grant
The grant is designed to help with immediate and emergency needs, such as housing, transportation and food.
GEORGETOWN, DC — Employers have until Friday to nominate their employees for support through Phase 2 of the Georgetown BID Employee Emergency Relief Grant, a program aimed to award one-time grants of up to $300 to employees in the commercial district who have lost their jobs as a result of the coronavirus crisis and need help with immediate and emergency needs, such as housing, transportation and food. Limited funds are available.
In this phase of the program, the Georgetown Business Improvement District is requiring business owners and/or managers to nominate employees for support. Click here to nominate an employee. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday.
