Georgetown Restaurants Serving Meals In Parking Spaces Outside
The DDOT permitted the eateries to use the parking spaces in front of their businesses for outdoor "Streatery" dining.
GEORGETOWN, D.C. — Eight restaurants in Georgetown now are able to offer dining al fresco outside in selected parking spots nearby. The DDOT permitted the eateries to use the parking spaces in front of their businesses for outdoor "Streatery" dining.
Participating businesses are:
Susheria (3101 K Street)

The Berliner (above, 3401 Water Street)

L'Annexe (2917 M Street)
Martin's Tavern (1265 Wisconsin Avenue) or
31st Street South of Blues Alley (spaces set aside for Ristorante Piccolo, Flavio and Il Canale)
The Georgetown Business Improvement District has been working with businesses to obtain the permits and hopes to help more eateries expand in this manner. The Georgetown BID also is considering the feasibility of temporary side street closures and sidewalk widening to help eateries maintain social distancing and still serve patrons.
