For those who aren't familiar with the movie — or just need a quick refresher — "The Sandlot" (1993) tells a story of young baseball fans during the summer of 1962. Fifth grader Scotty Smalls moves to San Fernando Valley and wants to play baseball. A baseball prodigy takes Smalls under his wing and introduces him to group of boys who play ball in a local sandlot. Together, the kids go on lots of funny adventures, but are in a pickle when the ball Smalls' borrows from his stepfather goes over a fence.
