Independents Day Georgetown: Enjoy Deals From Local Independent Merchants

GEORGETOWN, DC — Over 35 independent merchants throughout Georgetown are participating in Independents Day July 1, a day meant to celebrate the spirt of small business.

A sample of the participating businesses and their deals include:

• Olivia Macaron: Enjoy 15 percent off your purchase from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Pizzeria Paradiso: $5 pours from all 16 draft lines and $2 off any size pizza
• Pillar & Post: Ten percent off all books, and Sophie Allport and Denby brands
• Chai Farm-to-Taco: Enjoy a free side when you purchase a taco trio
• Ristorante Piccolo: Complimentary glass of Prosecco or house-made Tiramisu with every lunch entree ordered
• When shopping at participating stores, you can receive a free summer tote by Georgetown-based SCOUT bag with a purchase of $50 or more
