Lou Lou Day on Saturday, Aug. 2, Supports Dress for Success
Fifteen percent of the day's proceeds will go to Dress for Success, which provides professional attire and more to disadvantaged women.
Shop for a good cause this coming Saturday, Aug. 2 in Georgetown at Lou Lou, 1304 Wisconsin Ave. NW.
The store created its Lou Lou Day, an annual shopping day, to help support women-focused charities, and this year selected a charity that will benefit from the shop-to-give campaign.
This year’s charity of choice is Dress for Success, which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, accessories, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

For every $40 spent at Saturday’s event, customers will receive a $10 gift certificate. Fifteen percent of the day’s proceeds will go to Dress for Success.
