WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: the Ice Maze, DC Santa Crawl, Embassy Row Chocolate Tour, and Holiday Market.

If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Dec. 15, you should plan accordingly.

Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:

Red Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule until 10 p.m. Saturday. From 10 p.m. to closing, trains will operate every 16 minutes. On Sunday, trains will run every 16 minutes. Additional trains will run every 8 minutes between Van Ness-UDC and Glenmont from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and trains will single-track between Friendship Heights and Medical Center.

Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue, and Silver Line trains will operate on a regular weekend schedule (every 12-15 minutes).
