Must-Know Weekend Metro Schedule: Stations Close Due To Leak
If you're heading to downtown DC this weekend, you may be impacted by Metro's unexpected station closures. Here's what to expect.

WASHINGTON, DC — There are plenty of things to do and see in the D.C. area this weekend. Some attractions you'll find include: DC Wine Fest Fall Edition, Taste of Ethiopia Festival, Beatlemania Magic, Game of Thrones Concert Experience, and Family Fun Fest.
If you're thinking of taking the Metro on Saturday, Sept. 14 through Sunday, Sept. 15, you should plan accordingly.

Here's everything you need to know before heading out for the weekend:
Due to a leak, free shuttle buses will replace Red Line trains at Grosvenor-Strathmore, Medical Center, Bethesda, and Friendship Heights. Bethesda and Medical Center stations will be closed.

Red Line trains will run between Shady Grove and Grosvenor-Strathmore, and Friendship Heights and Glenmont.
- Trains coming every 8 minutes (opening until 9:30 p.m.)
- Trains coming every 15 minutes (9:30 p.m. until closing)
Orange, Silver, Blue, and Green Line trains will operate on a normal weekend schedule (every 12 to 15 minutes).
Yellow Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule between Huntington and Greenbelt.
