Book Hill Park (near the intersection of Wisconsin Ave & Reservoir Road) was also selected as one of 26 locations to host a giant cherry blossom sculpture as part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s citywide Art in Bloom program. Artist Cory Oberndorfer was selected to paint and transform this blossom (which you can sit on for a selfie) into a beautiful work of art, on display now through April 30.
