New Georgetown Bar Makes November's 'Hottest Bars In DC' List

GEORGETOWN, DC — As cold weather sweeps the nation, there's nothing like the warm cordiality of a watering hole.

Eater DC recently published its "15 Hottest Bars in D.C., November 2019" list. And rather than focus on D.C. mainstays, Eater's list includes new arrivals and establishments that have made big changes.

One Georgetown bar made the cut. Here's what Patch has to say about L'Annexe.

L'Annexe
This posh cocktail bar opened its doors on Georgetown's M Street strip in early October. L'Annexe prides itself on its European sophistication, intimate setting, and hand-crafted cocktails. The kitchen dishes up farm-to-table bites with unexpected pops of flavor. Small plates include spice rubbed ribeye skewers, tuna carpaccio, and corn hummus.

From its diverse food and bar menu to its zinc-topped bar and cozy library, L'Annexe is a unique addition to one of D.C.'s hottest neighborhoods.
