New Year's 2019: America Eats Tavern In Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, DC — Believe it or not, 2018 is almost over. Whether you're planning a romantic dinner for two or a family-friendly feast for 10, there are plenty of Georgetown restaurants that will be open on Dec. 31. Several of them will offer New Year's Eve and New Year's Day specials.

At America Eats Tavern, José Andrés' third iteration of the restaurant, there will be a regular dinner menu for guests until 9 p.m. Specials include:

• Harvest Beet Salad
• Roast chicken with chestnut puree and pickle cherries
• Ribeye with truffle mash potatoes and Madeira sauce

There will also be a party at the restaurant from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. For $65, patrons can enjoy a selection of alcoholic beverages and appetizers. Appetizers include hush puppies, oysters, and pulled pork.

On New Year's Day, brunch will begin at 11 a.m.
