Northern Virginia, DC Snow Totals By Town For March 21 Nor'Easter

How much snow did Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia get so far? Here are reports from the National Weather Service.

WASHINGTON, DC — The snow totals are starting to come in Wednesday for the latest Nor'easter to blanket Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. The National Weather Service received unofficial data from its employees as well as emergency management personnel, trained spotters and media. As of 5 p.m. snow ranged from 2 inches in Stafford County and the Anacostia section of The District to 10.8 inches in Augusta County, according to the weather service. Reagan National Airport recorded 4 inches of snow, while Dulles Airport had 5.2 inches.

Snowfall amounts in the Washington region should top out between 2 and 6 inches, but whatever falls will not stick around for long. The District and northern Virginia should see daytime highs in the low to mid-40s through Sunday, so snow will melt quickly.
