Person Rescued From Potomac At Georgetown Waterfront

A person was rescued from the Potomac at the Georgetown waterfront Thursday morning, D.C. fire officials said.

GEORGETOWN, D.C. — A person was rescued from the Potomac at the Georgetown Waterfront Thursday morning, D.C. fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to the 3300 block of Water St. NW for the report of a person in the water around 10:30 a.m.

Arriving officers found a person on the rocks adjacent to the river, officials said.

The person has been removed from the water and is being treated by EMS.
